Elton John has come to the rescue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The eco-conscious Duke and Duchess of Sussex have courted further controversy for taking a fourth trip by private jet in the space of 11 days.
However, the rocket man himself has helped the royal couple dodge any more turbulence.
Since then, though, Prince William and his family were spotted taking a budget airline on a trip to Scotland, further highlighting Harry and Meghan’s opulent means of travel, and the message it sends.
The singer, 72, said he chartered his own jet to fly the royal couple and baby Archie to stay at his villa in Nice in the south of France.
After a hectic year continuing their hard work and dedication to charity, David and I wanted the young family to have a private holiday inside the safety and tranquility of our home. To maintain a high level of much-needed protection, we provided them with a private jet flight.

He also said he offset the carbon emissions by making an appropriate contribution to Carbon Footprint.
I highly respect and applaud both Harry and Meghan’s commitment to charity and I’m calling on the press to cease these relentless and untrue assassinations on their character that are spuriously crafted on an almost daily basis.

Critics including Piers Morgan have labeled the Duke and Duchess hypocrites for taking lavish trips abroad despite promoting the global fight against climate change.
Jeez… these two ‘eco-warriors’ are something else. Beyond parody. https://t.co/8KA5O9efRs

Harry and Meghan jet off to Ibiza
Last week it was revealed Harry and Meghan took baby Archie on his first trip abroad by chartering a private jet to Ibiza.
The trip was to celebrate Meghan’s 38th birthday.
It was previously revealed that her birthday would be a “low-key” affair following an extravagant $300,000 baby shower in New York for Archie.
Climate change – Google it
Before heading to Ibiza, Prince Harry had given a keynote speech at Camp Google in Sicily, before making the short trip across the Mediterranean by private jet to join his wife and son.
The annual event is an opulent retreat attended by scores of fellow A-list celebrities and influential figures who flew in on a combined 114 private jets.
The lavishness on display at the luxurious Verdura resort in Sicily, attended by the world’s super-rich and powerful, raised huge question marks about the retreat’s authority to call for action on climate change.
At the top-secret elite Google Camp, Prince Harry delivered a ‘barefoot speech on saving the planet’. But most of the attendees travelled by gas-guzzling private jets https://t.co/f2fQegHOo6

Harry delivered an impassioned speech on the subject, even confirming that he and Meghan would be doing their bit by not having more than two children.
A source close to the opulent three-day gathering told the New York Post: “I’ve never seen such a pampered bunch. Everything is laid on for them. It’s so extravagant.
“They just don’t seem to be aware that they’re the ones burning huge amounts of fossil fuels.
“They turn up with unnecessary entourages in helicopters or fast cars and then preach about saving the world.”
