He’s still standing, and later this year, Elton John will bid farewell to a chart-topping career with his Yellow Brick Road Tour Down Under.
Sir Elton John, recently crowned by Billboard as the most successful performing male solo artist of all time, today reveals details of the epic 15-date Australian and 3-date New Zealand leg of his global Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
The 71-year-old music icon will kick off his highly-anticipated Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in Perth on November 20 before moving onto Adelaide in December. His other tour dates in the country include;

Elton John will then move on to New Zealand where he is set to play three concerts, including; Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, Mission Estate in Napier on Saturday, February 8, and Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on Sunday, February 9.
“Elton’s continuing love affair with Australia knows no bounds, proven by this farewell tour, and the breadth and depth of the itinerary, showing his commitment to his many Australian fans”, said promoter Michael Chugg. “On his very last tour, he wanted to return to some of his favourite cities, while also playing for fans in a couple of never-before-visited locations.”
It’s already being lauded as one of the star’s most “energetic, dazzlingly-original and joyful celebrations”, and a “reflective and stunning tribute to a great artist’s career”.
Not only will fans get to hear the hits live, the tour promises a “rare glimpse” into John’s life and the personal meaning behind some of his greatest hits through never-before-seen images and videos which will play throughout the show.
