Elle Macpherson has written a memoir.
The Australian supermodel has revealed that she has penned a book about her life titled Elle.
“Each experience, every circumstance, every situation is valuable insofar as it teaches us something,” she wrote alongside an image of the cover on Instagram, which includes snaps from past photoshoots she did with Gilles Bensimon and Ellen von Unwerth.
In a previous post Elle, 60, said her whole life has been a journey to ‘joy, fulfilment and purpose.’
“Sharing powerful life lessons, tools and understandings that I have learned through the highs and lows of my life so you can transform yours.”
The ’empowering’ book has been written by Elle, who shared an image of herself recording the audio version.
In March, Elle returned to the runway for the first time in 14 years at Australian Fashion Week.
A release from publisher Penguin Australia reveals that the book will chronicle her early life, modelling career in New York, relationships, journey into motherhood, and business ventures.
“An extraordinary journey of personal transformation empowered Elle to overcome adversities, illness and inner conflicts,” a summary reads.
“Now, in this book, fashioned with her irrepressible humour and spirit, Elle shares with you her hard-earned, well-learned wisdoms that empower us all to bring our own unique selves to life for the greater benefit of our world.”
Elle will be available from 3 September.
