Dua Lipa has tied the knot in high-fashion style and it isn’t event the main event.
The pop star has been photographed emerging from her civil ceremony in London hand-in-hand with actor Callum Turner. Reports suggest the intimate occasion precedes a larger, splashier ceremony in Italy in the coming weeks.
Grinning as she exited the Old Marylebone Town Hall, the star was seen in custom Schiaparelli couture skirt suit, designed by Daniel Roseberry, as she was covered in rose petals by jubilant friends and family.

Her bridal look included ivory blazer with a nipped-in waist and sharply tailored silhouette, affixed with personalized gold bijoux buttons, and a matching asymmetric skirt that featured a sculpted bustier trimmed in white lace., as per details released by the French fashion house.
Finishing her ensemble were a Bulgari Serpenti necklace in white gold and diamonds, a wide-brimmed hat by Stephen Jones and white Christian Louboutin pumps. In her hand she carried a small bunch of poppies.

Rounding out the high fashion approach, Dua’s new husband Callum Turner looked handsome in a double-breasted navy suit and matching shirt and tie by Ferragamo.
It’s a chic look no doubt, but the similarity to another iconic wedding ensemble only adds to the fashion lore. Dua’s outfit is remarkably similar to the look Bianca Jagger wore to wed Mick Jagger in Saint-Tropez back over 50 years ago. In May 1971 the socialite’s outfit consisted of a white Yves Saint Laurent Le Smoking jacket and bias-cut long skirt, with a fabulously large hat. It’s since been held up by many fashion enthusiasts as the pinnacle of non-conventional bridal style.

We are waiting eagerly to see what the singer will don if the pair really do go through with a more lavish ceremony in Italy shortly. Rumored famous friends like Elton John, Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Donatella Versace, and Simon Porte Jacquemus, are expected to be in attendance.
