Domino’s is offering free pizza to couples who had to postpone their weddings
Wedding plans postponed due to the pandemic? Say "I dough" instead with Dominoes.

Domino’s wants to help couples across Australia commemorate their planned wedding date in an extra cheesy way: with free pizza.

The offer is open to 1000 couples who had to cancel their wedding plans due to COVID-19.

Domino’s Australia and New Zealand CEO Nick Knight says they want to bring a little joy to people where they can.

“Thousands of Aussie couples were within weeks of their special day when the pandemic hit – forcing them to change their plans almost overnight, with some having to postpone their wedding for more than 12 months,” says Knight.

“Now, they will likely spend what would have been their wedding day at home, physically distanced from the ones they love.”

“We know that pizza can’t solve all the world’s problems, but if there’s one thing it can do, it’s brighten-up a bad day,” he adds. “We want to give those who have had to make the emotional decision to postpone their wedding something to smile about and remember during this difficult time.”

The offer is open to Australian couples. To enter, they must write a short paragraph about when and where the wedding was supposed to be, and explain why pizza would help cheer them up.

The competition ends 28 May, 2020. Click here to enter.
