Deadly Ponies launch jewellery collection

Deadly Ponies has teamed up with bespoke Parisian jeweller Atelier Paulin to bring its first jewellery collection to life. The hand-tempered brass hardware that features in Deadly Ponies’ new collection, Grande Familia, served as the inspiration. “When I was designing the collection I was thinking it would be great to bend brass into letters or words,” says founder Liam Bowden. “We researched how to do it and there happened to be a French company already doing it and they were super keen to work with us.” The collaborative collection features bracelets and pins that have been individually handcrafted in the turned and twisted technique.

The collection has been launched with three key pieces: a fine bracelet, clothing pin and a woolen felt hat with pin adornment. Each piece is offered in either ‘Deadly’ or ‘Ponies’ crafted from 14kt gold, sterling silver, or 18kt gold-plated precious thread. You can shop them here now.

Put to the test: Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm

WHAT IT’S FOR: Sloughing away dry, dead skin cells and getting that bod beach ready.

STAR INGREDIENTS: Finely ground rosehip seeds and Trilogy’s famous rosehip oil.

THE VERDICT: Trilogy has always been ahead of the game as far as sustainable, conscious beauty is concerned, and the Exfoliating Body Balm continues the trend. Now that we’re well aware of the impact that plastic microbeads have on the environment, there’s really no excuse for including outdated exfoliators in our beauty routines. Trilogy’s Exfoliating Body Balm makes use of environmentally friendly ground-up rosehip seeds which gently exfoliate without polluting our waterways.

Mindful beauty aside, the real joy in using this balm comes from the rich blend of rosehip oil, sweet almond oil and beeswax. Unlike other body exfoliators that can feel harsh and dry out skin, this nourishing blend melts onto skin leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. We’ll definitely be popping this one into our holiday beauty bag.
