From November 11th Jahroc Galleries will be merging fine art with fine local tastings at next week’s 2017 Margaret River Gourmet Escape. “Tales From Within The Studio” David Bromley’s latest exhibition features a collection of artworks “Food, Glorious Food” series which are sure to delight the Gourmet Escape lovers of all things food.
David Bromley is known for his admiration of pop art which has played a significant role in shaping his artwork which is enduringly figurative, daringly coloured and executed with a graphic intention that is bold and memorable.
Jahroc Gallery owner Lara Bennett is excited to share Bromley’s works
“David Bromley’s paintings have the ability to ignite happy childhood memories or to inspire us to create new memories, and aim to throw a bit of innocence and old fashioned playful fun back into the world of high tech gadgets and screens.
“They prompt a curiosity about the interior monologues that are going on in his characters, allowing the viewer to fall in and experience the story David has created. We’re really looking forward to sharing David’s bold, colourful, diverse works with everyone,” said Lara.
The exhibition will kick off with a free launch event at Jahroc Galleries on Friday 17th November from 1-4pm. Guests are invited to enjoy tastings of sparkling fruit wines from The Berry Farm, gourmet wine crackers from the Margaret River Cracker Co teamed with Margaret River Dairy Company Cheese, and live entertainment by Graeme Dickinson.
