Berry’s daughter, Nahla, is soon to have a little brother, the actress’s rep told E. News! in a statement.
“We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child. We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details.”
The 46-year-old Oscar winner is in her second trimester already, around 12 weeks along in her pregnancy. Berry began dating 47-year old French actor Martinez in 2010, after co-starring together in the thriller Dark Tide. They got engaged 15 months ago, but have yet to set a wedding date. The actress has a five-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her ex boyfriend Gabirel Aubry.
“Every night, we do our prayers,” Berry said in a November appearance on The Wendy Williams Show.
“We pray to God, so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’ And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we’ve got to keep praying on.'”
Looks like her prayers have been answered. Congratulations Halle and Olivier!
