The 49-year old mother of two and former host of NBC design competition series Fashion Star had been dating 43-year-old Soffer for two years, before breaking up briefly last March. But the couple rekindled their romance soon after Soffer injured his vertebrae in November following a helicopter crash, according to Us Weekly.
Macpherson made headlines last June, when she announced that she would no longer host Fashion Star, however she’s remaining on the board of executive producers while designer and Glamour magazine’ editor at large Louise Roe now helms the show.
Macpherson was previously married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon for three years, before divorcing in 1989. She has since had two children with her ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson; 15 year-old Arpad Flynn and 10-year old Aurelius Cy. The nuptials will also mark the second time down the aisle for Soffer.
Sources reveal that the Aussie beauty and lingerie tycoon is planning to move from London to Florida with the hotel heir, who lives in Miami, vowing not to let long distance get between them again.
