Cornelia Frances Loses Her Battle With Cancer
Australian actor Cornelia Frances has died at age 77.

Dearly loved Australian actor Cornelia Frances has lost her battle with cancer.

Best known for playing Morag Bellingham on Home and Away, the star is understood to have been surrounded by loved ones when she passed away overnight in Sydney.

Just a few months ago the Australian legend revealed that she had been diagnosed with bladder cancer 12 months earlier, vowing to fight it. She later revealed in March that the cancer had spread to her thigh.

Frances had a long and successful acting career, starring in shows including Home and Away, Sons and Daughters, The Young Doctor. She’s also famous for presenting the popular game show The Weakest Link from 2001-2002.

Frances is survived by her son, Lawrence.
