Than MiNDFOOD needs you!
We have been asked by our friends at Carnival Cruises to recruit some helpers and get knitting for a good cause.
The organisation, which runs P&O cruises has teamed up with aid group Save The Children to help make a difference to the lives of newborn babies across the Pacific, as part of their annual “Born to Knit” drive.
All we are asking, is for readers who are interested to come forward and help us by knitting a square and then sending it back to us at MiNDFOOD. Together we will help to create special blanket destined for a child in need.
Now you may not have been “Born to Knit”, as the campaign’s name suggests, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn for a good cause!
You will be provided with your very own “Born to Knit” kit which includes everything to get you started: from colourful wool, knitting needles and a step by step instruction guide. All you have to do is knit!
To get knitting with MiNDFOOD all you have to do is submit your details, your name, address and why you think you should be a part of this special project to [email protected].
You could knit a square on your own or as a couple, family or group. You
could even give your square a special touch or embellishment, the
possibilities are endless.
