Ben Bayly from The Grove, Mikey Newlands (pictured above) from Bracu and Nick Honeyman from Everybody’s Izakaya are putting on a delicious mini taster menu in the Carlton Hospitality Marquee for the charity auction dinner which is raising funds for Auckland City Mission Food Banks.
Each year, during November and December, DineAid also raises money through participating restaurants across New Zealand by adding a voluntary donation of just $2 per table to restaurant bills to be paid by the bill payer.
Since DineAid was launched, restaurants and cafes have raised and distributed $392,481. The City Mission has been one of the chief beneficiaries, feeding the homeless with donations from those who can afford to eat well.
