The CFDA Awards are the Oscars of the fashion industry, honouring the brightest stars in American design.
The annual ceremony took place on Monday night at the Brooklyn Museum, where a big ballroom was filled with everyone Oprah to Donatella Versace.
Past winners include everyone from the Olsen twins to Raf Simons for Calvin Klein. It was no surprise then that Simons won Womenswear Designer of the Year for the second year in a row.

Surprise, however, was on the face of Supreme founder James Jebbia when he accepted Supreme’s CFDA for Menswear Designer of the Year. “I’ve never considered Supreme to be a fashion company or myself to be a designer, but I appreciate the recognition for what we do,” he said.
Kim Kardashian, who is known for her voluptuous body, said that she too was shocked that she was winning a fashion award when she’s naked most of the time. Kim won the Influencer Award, which will be of surprise to nobody.
