To celebrate their 15th birthday, Camilla & Marc opened Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia with their RESORT 19 collection.
Models, including international supermodel Georgia Fowler, walked the 120-metre sand-covered runway in the brand’s latest range, which features bold yet feminine pieces with a futuristic edge that acknowledge powerful women throughout history.
The collection was displayed against the backdrop of a futuristic Australian “Zen garden”. Tones of khaki, stone and rust are juxtaposed by citron, ice pink and emerald, while modern fabrics including silk chiffons, fine jerseys and semi-sheer lurex knits were in keeping with the forward-thinking theme of the show. Military style jackets were a key look, with details from fringing to layering adding depth to this strong, contemporary new collection.
