Calvin Klein’s new campaign celebrates family, music and fashion

Family is the focus of Calvin Klein’s latest campaign, which builds on the brand’s global call to action “Our Family. #MYCALVINS.”

The first chapter of the new campaign is shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre and features songwriter and artist Solange alongside a group of select singer-songwriters including Kelela, Dev Hynes, Caroline Polachek and Adam Bainbridge of Kindness.

The cast – all wearing key items from CALVIN KLEIN JEANS and CALVIN KLEIN UNDERWEAR – are shot intimately as a musical family, highlighting Calvin Klein’s message that family is found in many forms.

The “Our Family. #MYCALVINS” campaign initiative will run throughout the Holiday 2017-Spring 2018 season, featuring a number of different generations representing the family-community connection.

Designer Wardrobe Opens Boutique

New Zealand-owned company Designer Wardrobe has been rapidly expanding over the past few years, culminating in the launch of its very first store.

The business offers fashion rentals and a secondhand-clothing market with high fashion labels including Gucci, Zimmerman, Trelise Cooper, Karen Walker and Ruby.

Founder Donielle Brooke says that in the past twelve months the brand has expanded, even more, leading to the realisation of her dream to create a Designer Wardrobe store. Customers can now try on pieces before renting in a stunning store with marble flooring and velvet curtains.

“Opening a store has been a long-term dream for us,” says Donielle. “With the natural growth and success of the website, we saw the need emerge from our Designer Wardrobe members for a physical store to complement the pre-existing online experience.”
