Blush is bang on trend (still) as new makeup releases abound
Once, it was considered a sign of embarassment to blush. Now, we can't get enough, with a host of new blush arrivals proving blush is a flattering addition to your makeup routine.

Yes, we’re still banging on about blush.

It’s because the cheek colour products are still landing on counters every week as they try and keep up with our demand for a fresh flush.

The blushes come in every form from stick, to liquid to classic powder, and are proving a must have for people of every age who are seeking a radiant and healthy look.

Especially in the depths of winter when skin can start to look a bit dull, a pop of blush on the cheeks can give your complexion a boost in seconds.

Beauty mega-influencer Hailey Bieber is the latest to jump on the blush bandwagon. The founder of Rhode Beauty has just announced her first foray into colour (other than lip balm) will be blush, her upcoming Pocket Blush, also containing tamanu oil and peptides, lands on June 20.

““We talk about essentials, and when I wanted to do any approach to color, it was the same idea. I wanted to throw it in my purse or bring it on a plane — what would I need if I’m just landing somewhere?” she told WWD.

“I view everything as hybrid. For us, it’s more about marrying skin care and color together. I don’t think we’ll ever do something that’s just traditionally a color cosmetics product,” said Bieber. “It’s always going to have more of a story and the DNA of skin care behind it.”

We also love Revlon’s new Illuminance Gel Serum blush. It the gel-cream formula comes in a tube, and can be tapped into the cheeks with your fingers for a pretty, realistic looking blush, like you’ve just done a gentle workout at the gym. The peachy shade will be so pretty with a tan in summer too!

Once you’ve studied up on how to choose the best blush shade for you, all the different types of blush and how to apply them, check out these new arrivals for a range of options to try.
