A Georgian barber is helping parents discipline their children with an effective (if not slightly left of centre) new technique.
Russell Frederick, who runs A-1 Kutz Salon, came up with the idea when he was trying to find a way to disciple his son. Frederick began shaving his youngster’s head bald – leaving hair at the sides similar to an ageing man’s balding head – whenever he misbehaved. Dubbed the ‘Benjamin Button Special’, the embarrassing cut, according to father of three, has even helped improve his 12-year-old’s grades, which had fallen, “dramatically”.
So Frederick started offering the service, free of charge, to other parents as a safe, violence-free alternative to disciplining kids who were acting up. The response on social media has been overwhelming.
What do you think of Frederick’s disciplining technique?
