Australia is getting its very own ‘Selling Sunset’ spinoff show
Off the back of the global popularity of Netflix's Selling Sunset, a new Australian real estate reality show is in the works.

The US show, following the lives of Hollywood’s top realtors, quickly become a Netflix hit and it seems those down under are looking to cash in on the show’s success with their own spinoff.

The Australian show will be based in the glamorous world of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and in Selling Sunset fashion, will follow the lives of three top real estate personalities.

Eureka Productions, who produce Farmer Wants A Wife and The Amazing Race Australia are heading up the show.

“Sydney’s real estate market is unlike any other in the world, it’s a brilliant mix of big personalities, spectacular properties and high-stakes deals,” says Chris Culvenor, co-chief executive of Eureka Productions.

So far, the three castmembers named are Gavin Rubenstein, D’Leanne Lewis and Simon Cohen.

Simon Cohen is the founder of Cohen Handler, Australia’s largest buyers’ agent firm.

Gavin Rubenstein is a top-selling agent behind The Rubenstein Group, and has been called “Australia’s most devised figure in real estate.”

The last castmember, D’Leanne Lewis’, has a reputation for $100 million+ sales, dubbed the ‘Queen of Queen’s Park’.

The show is set to be released in 2021 on Amazon Prime.
