Though there seems to be a new global day of recognition every week, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks pasta isn’t worth celebrating.
So it is that this Saturday marks World Pasta Day. For those that love the stuff, (count us in) it’s a good reason to serve up something special.
For Auckland restaurant Bossi, pasta is better when shared, so it has created a one-off menu in collaboration with sleek Queenstown wine bar and fine dining restaurant Toast & Oak, served at Bossi this Saturday, October 25.

Following on from the pair-up the two restaurants did down south in July, a pasta celebration is the perfect occasion for another get-together.
Executive Chefs Shaun Dowling (Bossi, Auckland) and Giulio Barducci (Toast & Oak, Queenstown) will be creating a six-course collaboration dinner in Bossi’s stunning downtown restaurant to mark the annual day of the Italian dish we all know and love.

Each chef will present three bespoke dishes, with at least one pasta each, showcasing bold flavour, seasonal New Zealand produce, and their distinct culinary philosophies.
The culinary celebration is expected to deliver something quite unique, a dining experience that feels different to a regular night at Bossi, blending Toast & Oak’s refined, Michelin-level artistry with Bossi’s bold Italian soul.
With the long-weekend giving many of us the reason to relax, sharing an evening of pasta at one of Auckland’s best dining spots is high on our list of must-dos!
Bookings are open now.
