Art in the Park returns to Lyne Park in Sydney's Rose Bay, set to become the backdrop for a multitude of canvases.

Lyne Park, Rose Bay becomes the backdrop for a multitude of canvases, hosted by the Rose Bay Rotary Club with the support of Woollahra Council Art in the Park enables artists to showcase and sell their work, and offers the public an opportunity to enjoy a great day out in a premier Sydney harbour foreshore park, with avenues of Morton Bay Fig trees.

120 artists have participated since the inauguration of the event in 2012. The event hosts a range of mediums including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, jewellery, glass and ceramics.

Sunday 24 August 2014 bring a picnic rug and enjoy the Rotary Rose Bay BBQ, music performances by the community and enjoy and peruse the artists exhibiting in 2014 from 10am till 4pm.

Activities for kids to explore their creativity with chalk and activity table.

Right on transport with 324 and 325 Buses from the city via Edgecliff and Watson’s Bay via New South Head Road dropping you right at the event. Or enjoy the Ferry Trip from Circular Quay, No. 4 Wharf leaving from 9:35am to Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, Rose Bay or from 9am from Watson’s Bay Ferry Wharf. Plan your trip

Artists and the community continue to embrace Art in the Park.” said Brian Fine, who initiated Art in the Park and is the Committee Convenor. “We are pleased to build this cultural event into an annual attraction for locals and visitors.”

Nadine Wagner of Wagner Art Gallery of Paddington is the patron of Art in the Park. Wagner Art Gallery specialise in Australian Fine Art, elite, established and emerging.

Artists and their works are being showcased via in the lead up to the event.

Exhibition stalls are available at $100 per stand display and or display table with payment required upon registration . Proceeds from stall sales and food and drink sales will go to support local charities including the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick. Rotary Rose Bay is a Bronze sponsor of the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
