Apollo Bay Seafood Festival

Apollo Bay Seafood Festival
Explore this delicious seafood festival.

Be captivated, provoked and inspired as you explore this unique festival of events programmed in response to this year’s Festival theme, Seas The Day. Dine with 200 other food lovers at Off The Hook, a shared seafood celebration prepared by MoVida’s Frank Camorra.

Clamber about fishing boats and taste the seafood straight from the source at Harbour Day, Saturday’s open day at the Apollo Bay Harbour. Get your hands dirty at one of the cooking workshops scattered throughout town. Meet farmers and fishermen at Conversations On The Edge. Or catch your breath at the end of your weekend over locally distilled spirits at Whisky Wind-Down.

Festival goers are encouraged to make the most of the weekend and head to the Apollo Bay Community Market on Saturday morning for local produce, arts and crafts on the foreshore, or the Apollo Bay Farmers Market on Sunday morning for seasonal produce direct from the farmer.

Over the last six years, the Apollo Bay Seafood Festival has grown to become a major event on the town’s calendar, attracting up to 8,000 visitors over a weekend, championing fresh, local seafood and the rugged beauty of the coastal town. 2018 is set to be the biggest festival yet, expanding to three days, with a huge range of events for a perfect long weekend down the coast.
