It’s been a huge year for Australian music, with 13 Aussie albums topping the ARIA Album charts, making 2013 the most successful year for Aussie albums in history.
Taking place at Sydney’s The Star Event Centre, this year’s ARIA Awards also saw international superstar Alicia Keys take the stage, performing her hit single ‘Girl On Fire’, as well as locals Bliss N Eso and New Zealand songstress Lorde delivering live performances of their biggest songs of the year.
The night’s big winners were electro wiz Harley Streten, aka Flume, and psych rockers Tame Impala, both bagging three ARIAs each.
