Amal Clooney helps Meghan Markle adjust to life in UK

When George and Amal Clooney almost stole the show at the recent wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, speculation about the royal couple’s friendship with the Clooney’s started. According to People, Amal Clooney and Markle have been friends for a while, and the human rights lawyer has even been helping Markle adjust to her new life in the UK.

“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests,” an insider told People. “Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life. It was a very natural friendship from day one.”

The Hollywood actor’s wife who is thought to be one of the best-dressed guests at the May wedding, styled a stunning bright yellow Stella McCartney midi dress and matching veiled fascinator. Apart from their shared interests, Amal Clooney, 40, and Markle, 36, share the same hairdresser in London, Miguel Martin-Perez. As previously reported by MiNDFOOD, Martin-Perez says that the pair are friends and that he does their hair.

In a social media post after the wedding, the celebrity stylist said, “Such a DREAM getting one of my favourite people in the world ready for this historical British moment!!! Many congratulations to their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, hair by me @miguelmartinperezldn using @hairrituel.”

Meanwhile in related news, Markle has reportedly ordered her sick father not to get behind the wheel of a car as he recovers from heart surgery. This after the Duchess’ father suffered a heart attack and was unable to attend his daughter’s wedding.
