Adele serves a classic Kiwi wine at her ’30’ cocktail party in L.A
Following Adele's 'One Night Only' showcase, the singing superstar celebrated '30' with close friends and a Kiwi classic on the menu designed by famed chef, Wolfgang Puck.

New Zealand is known for producing some of the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc. And so when it came to choosing a wine spritzer for Adele’s celebratory menu, it was no surprise Cloudy Bay was chosen.

The event’s cocktail menu revealed that the drinks were appropriately named after some of Adele’s songs.

The Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough winery Cloudy Bay was chosen for the “I Drink Wine” spritzer mixed with Club Soda.

Other cocktails on the list included an Aperol Spritz aptly titled “Aperologetically Adele Spritz,” a dark rum drink dubbed “Stumbling in the Dark for a Hand ‘N Stormy,” a “Judy Garland Inspired Standard” and a “My Little Love Tail” lemon cocktail.

MiNDFOOD’s Master Sommelier, Cameron Douglas said Adele’s choice was ‘Excellent’.

“A super-classic with aromas of fresh basil and green apple, pink grapefruit and wet slate mineral scents.” he said. The vibrant and fresh wine was a perfect choice for a spritz with “fresh fruit flavours of citrus and tree fruits, pineapple and fresh green herb.”
