As bushfires burn out of control across South Australia, the kind gesture of one Adelaide hotelier is not going unnoticed.

The owner of boutique The Hampshire Hotel has posted a Facebook message offering free rooms to people affected by the devastating bushfires.

“To all those affected by the fires — if you have been, or need to be evacuated from your home and have no where to stay, we have some rooms available FREE of charge for you to stay in if needed,” Hampshire Hotel owner James Robertson said.

The hotel is also hosting a fundraiser on Sunday to assist families affected by the fires.
At least 12 homes have been confirmed destroyed in the fires which have been described as the worst since Ash Wednesday.
