All the adorable facts you need to know about the baby prince ahead of his christening.

His full name is HRH Prince Louise Arthur Charles of Cambridge.

He was born on St George’s Day (April 23, at 11.01am, 2018). St George’s Day in England remembers St George, England’s patron saint. According to legend, he was a soldier in the Roman army who killed a dragon and saved a princess.

Louis is the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child, and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh’s sixth great-grandchild. They now have seven after the arrival of Lena Tindall.

He is a good sleeper. Two days after Louis was born William revealed, “Sleeping’s going reasonably well so far, so he’s behaving himself, which is good.

He’s added to William’s fatherly worries. When leaving the hospital with Prince Louis, William declared in jest that he had “thrice the worry now.”

His name holds a lot of meaning. Even though Louis is one of Prince George’s middle names, Kate and William loved it so much that they decided to use it again. It holds a lot of meaning for the Windsors as Louise was the name of Prince Charles’ beloved great-uncle Earl Mountbatten, who was killed by the IRA in 1979.

He is a delight to his sister, Princess Charlotte. Kensington Palace released adorable images for Charlotte’s third birthday, of her cuddling and kissing her brother in the most lovely way.

He is unlikely to be King. Even though he is in line to the throne, he is 5th, with Prince Charles, his father and his two siblings in front of him. So it is extremely unlikely that Prince Louis will ever be king.
