Scotch whisky maker Glenfiddich is set to host ‘Le Grand Pique-Nique Noir’ at Auckland’s acclaimed Onslow, promising an evening of luxury, dining and celebration for lovers of fine whisky and food.
Taking place for one night only on Wednesday 29 June, guests will be treated to a decadent four-course menu designed by Emett and Head Chef Glen File, featuring sumptuous dishes like Central Otago terrine with rabbit and hare, skillfully matched with unique Glenfiddich cocktails.
The evening will end with a special tasting of Glenfiddich’s coveted Grand Cru 23yo, a daring expression that’s matured for 23 years and finished in rare French cuvée oak casks.
“Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23yo is an exceptional example of fine craftsmanship, and a proof point of Glenfiddich’s spirit of experimentation,”says Phil Spector, National Brand Ambassador, William Grant & Sons.“Finished in French cuvée casks that once contained the liquid that goes on to become some of the world’s most extraordinary sparkling wines, it makes for an unforgettable experience that is perfectly suited to a celebratory occasion such as Le Grand Pique-Nique Noir at Onslow.”
Le Grand Pique-Nique Noi takes place on Wedneday 29 June and tickets are $185pp. Seats are limited, available to book at onslow.co.nz
