The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to attend the 2019 BAFTAs. In anticipation of this year’s Awards, we take a look back at Duchess Kate’s style at past events.
Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend the 72nd British Academy Film Awards, which will be held Sunday, February 10 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
On the night, Prince William, as President of BAFTA, will present the Fellowship award. It is the highest accolade bestowed by the Academy to an individual in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, television or games.
The royal couple has attended the even together on three previous occasions, and as always the Duchess dazzles with her classic looks.
Last year, a pregnant Duchess Kate looked typically glowing, wearing a stunning green dress by Jenny Packham, which featured a sweetheart neckline and ribbon belt detail.
In 2011, at the event held in Los Angeles, the Duchess looked simply gorgeous in a lavender gown by Alexander McQueen.
She again wore a bespoke Alexander McQueen gown in 2017. The off-the-shoulder dress was cut in a drop-waist style and covered in a delicate floral pattern.
