With sales of more than 31 million copies, Adele’s second studio album is still the best-selling record of the century.
The album received a record-tying six Grammy Awards
At the 2012 Grammys, Adele took home six awards for 21, tying with Beyonce for the most Grammy wins by a female artist in one night.
Beyonce is also one of Adele’s favourite singers – she has said that “the other artists who mean that much to me are all dead”.

Adele attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology, and was a classmate of Leona Lewis and Jessie J.

She says she sometimes has panic attacks before shows and throws up backstage.

The star has admitted she is afraid of flying and feels homesick for London while on tour.
