I have an enduring love of a great cup or mug. The right one can help even the most ordinary morning get off to a great start, as I wrap my hands around it and enjoy the quiet before the rest of the world wakes up. I’m not specific, a larger rounded mug is nice for a cup of tea, a smaller sizer that perfectly accommodates a flat white gets a lot of use too. Clean lines and a smooth, matte finish is just as appealing to me as a ceramic piece handmade with love. My partner will only use ones with a roomy handle, whereas I appreciate the cute hook on Acme’s cups which make up a good portion of my selection.
It means there’s no sleek, minimalist line-up of cups that match in our household, but I always have the perfect option to match my mood and drink. The problem is, my collector tendencies means the shelf is full, but I’ll never stop admiring new ones that have potential.
