30th anniversary for Floriade

Celebrating its 30th year, Floriade is the largest flower show in the Southern Hemisphere, boasting over one million flowers grown both on-site and in portable flowerbeds off-site. This year’s theme of ‘rejuvenation’ has inspired the garden bed designs, floral installations and event programming.

This year welcomes new changes and event enhancements, including the Floriade Twilight Concert, presented by Singapore Airlines, featuring David Bowie tribute act the ‘Ziggy Band’, accompanied by the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. Floriade 2017 also features a sculpture garden, showcasing large artworks from local and national artists, as well as integrated shopping and trader areas and increased kids’ activities which encourage children to explore, discover and play throughout their Floriade journey.
