Calming Rose and Mint Tea

Calming Rose and Mint Tea recipe, brought to you by MiNDFOOD.

For centuries, mint has been enjoyed for its wonderful aroma, its great taste, and its healing power. Long known for its ability to settle a nervous stomach, fresh mint tea is a wonderful easy drink to make at home.

Serves 4

2 tsp dried lemongrass

1 tbsp dried rosebuds

(or 1 tsp rosewater)

¼ cup fresh mint leaves, torn

organic raw sugar, to taste

Put lemongrass and rosebuds in a warmed teapot. Pour in enough boiling water to fill the teapot. Add mint and cover. Allow to infuse for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain.

Serve hot or cold. Sweeten with 
a little sugar if desired.
