Calming Rose and Mint Tea

For centuries, mint has been enjoyed for its wonderful aroma, its great taste, and its healing power. Long known for its ability to settle a nervous stomach, fresh mint tea is a wonderful easy drink to make at home.

Serves 4

2 tsp dried lemongrass

1 tbsp dried rosebuds

(or 1 tsp rosewater)

¼ cup fresh mint leaves, torn

organic raw sugar, to taste

Put lemongrass and rosebuds in a warmed teapot. Pour in enough boiling water to fill the teapot. Add mint and cover. Allow to infuse for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain.

Serve hot or cold. Sweeten with
a little sugar if desired.
