US couple welcomes their 100th grandchild
Incredibly, this US couple have just welcomed their 100th grandchild into the family.

It’s hard to believe but pictured above is a US couple proudly cradling their 100th grandchild.

The Illinois couple are celebrating the bouncing baby boy that rounded off their impressive number of family members.

So how did they manage it?

Well, Leo and Ruth Zanger have 12 children, they in turn have a combined total of 53 children – that’s 53 grandchildren for the Zangers.

Their youngest child, 31-year-old Joe, was already an uncle 10 times when he was born.

To add to this, the couple, who have been married for 59 years, have 46 great-grandchildren and even one great-great-grandchild.

But it was the arrival of  their great-grandson Jaxton Leo on April 8 that brought the total to 100.

Leo Zanger told local reporters that “the good Lord has just kept sending them,” adding that his family “could start our own town”.

His wife, Ruth Zanger said “there’s always room for one more”.

When the family gets together, they rent an entire church hall and it takes 10 turkeys to feed everyone.
