This 82 year old skydiver could teach us a think or two about life goals
At 82, this incredible woman is a world record holder and tireless charity worker.

Dilys Price OBE is a woman of many hats. Not only is she the world record holder for being the oldest female skydiver, but she also runs a charity called ‘Touch Trust’ that specialises in transforming the lives of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Late last year, after receiving her Guinness Book of Records title, she also added a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award to her list of accomplishments.

The charity she runs, does wonders for the members and their family’s, whose lives have been effected by profound disability. Her tireless altruism paints a picture of a most selfless woman. But the one thing she does for herself is something she could never let go of.

A vision of optimism, pride and life, Dilys’ daunting passion has it’s fair share of critics; “People come up to me and say ‘Oh, be careful.’ I think, ‘That’s ridiculous. What a better way to die? Having fun!'”

For her, skydiving is her release. A time where she forgets about her age, her life, her worries, and can just be herself.

“You’re a bird for 50 seconds and imagine! You can go at 140 miles an hour, you can do a barrel roll, you can flip, you can move here, you can move there. You can join up with people. It is unbelievably wonderful. I won’t stop until I know it’s not safe.”

“Life can be very hard and we try to help those who are less fortunate. I’ve had a lovely life but I’ve found if I’m knocked down I just stand back up again. I’m extremely stubborn and I wont give up, in what I believe in.

A short film has been made about her extraordinary life. Watch below.
