Fruit and vegetables under an MRI are strangely hypnotic and beautiful

Ever wondered what fruit and vegetables might look like underneath an MRI scan? Well, we didn’t either, until we saw them and realised just how magical they were. Magnetic Resonance Imaging creates images of interiors. When Andy Ellison, an MRI technologist at Boston University Medical School’s Centre for Biomedical Engineering isn’t taking images of humans (for diagnosis), he puts things like pineapples under the scan. Andy uploads the images to his blog, Inside Insides, and they’re entirely hypnotic. You can find loads more on Alex’s blog.
