Sorry 2016, but silky nightgown-esque robes and head-to-toe pyjamas masquerading as daywear was a trend we couldn't get behind. Keep the satin button-up shirts for the bedroom we say.

From pyjamas disguised as silky blouses to trackpants paired with heels, here are the trends that we're hoping to wave goodbye to in 2017.

Each year fashion throws some oddballs at us trend wise; from pyjamas disguised as silky blouses to trackpants paired with heels, here are the trends that we’re hoping to wave goodbye to in 2017.

When it comes to fashion we love comfort as much as the next, but we’re pretty certain 2017 isn’t going to be the year that we begin to understand the reasoning behind teaming heels and luxe arm candy with trackpants.

While we’re rather fond of a sheer layer or two, we like ours to leave a little something to the imagination.

Who knew so many fashionistas – Kim Kardashian included – are huge Metallica fans? Don’t love the band, then don’t wear the merchandise.

While we’re all for extending the seasonality of our wardrobes, this is one trend we don’t get.
