Beauty Report: Backstage at Dior Fall-Winter 16/17

If the make-up on the recent runway shows is anything to go by, dramatic vampy lip colour is going to experience a serious resurgence in the coming seasons.  Make-up maestro Peter Philips worked his magic on models for Dior’s A/W 16-17 show teaming his take on the gothic lip with the boldest lashes. “Lips are the focal point of the look. They were hydrated with Dior Addict Lip Glow then made up using Dior Contour lip liner and Rouge Dior in Poison to obtain an extreme shade of plum that flirts on the edge of black. The lips were then coated with Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Bulle for a mirror effect,” Philips says.

Fans of Philips’ creation will have to wait until September to get their hands on Dior Contour lip liner and Rouge Dior in Poison.
