Bastille Day Celebration @ The Argyle

Bastille Day Celebration @ The Argyle

Bastille Day commemorates the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, a symbol of the French revolution. As part of the celebrations in France, various balls, dances, spectacular firework displays and military parades are held across the country.

Embracing the multiculturalist spirit of Australia, The Alliance Francaise de Sydney have announced The Bastille Day Celebration at the Argyle will be on again this year. 2016 marks the event’s sixth consecutive year, which is now described as a milestone in the French cultural calendar.

The event will be held at The Argyle, The Rocks in Sydney on Thursday 14 July. With drinks, dancing, cancan shows and a delectable array of French foods, the event is sure to bring members of the French community and Sydneysiders together. The authentic sweet French crepes is one reason alone you want to be attending!
