HEIDE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

Exhibition:The Big Rainbow Funhouse of Cosmic Brutality

Dates: 18 July to 15 November 2009.

Details:  Paul Yore is presenting a new, site-specific version of an installation made from numerous everyday throwaway items, both natural and artificial. Glittery psychedelia, plastic objects, fake flowers and real branches are intricately organised into shrine-like arrangements and spaces for reflection, patching together a joyful and contemplative garden of delights, wherein this cheap detritus may function in a new way.

Exhibition: Andreas Gursky

Details: A collection of photographic works by one of the world’s leading contemporary artists. Gusky examines the experience of living in the globalised world.

Exhibition: The Cricket and The Dragon: The Animals in Asian Art

Details: An exhibition aimed at children, which focuses on images of animals in Asian art.
