Who: Celebrity chefs Martin Boetz of Longrain Restaurants, Jared Ingersoll
of Danks St Depot and Paul Doyle of the Shangri-La have generously
donated their culinary expertise to create a mouth-watering menu for
the event.
The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation will host a night of gastronomic indulgence and live music with Sydney’s ‘King of Bass’, to raise awareness of the effects of poor literacy on Australian communities.
Boetz: “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to help support the ALNF in their work with Indigenous Australians, refugees and marginalised youth. Literacy is an issue that affects us all”.
Ingersoll: “I am very excited to be involved in the ALNF’s Dine Out on Literacy event. From a personal perspective, I am a passionate reader and I know that my ability to read and write has had a significant impact on my career to-date”.
Doyle: "I am honoured to offer my culinary services to help support the worthwhile work of the Foundation“.
The evening will be hosted by Richard Morecroft, with an opening performance by acclaimed Indigenous Australian opera singer Deborah Cheetham.
Craig Calhoun, funk bassist extraordinaire and former bass player for the Supremes, and The Brothers of OZ will perform original material on the evening.

$350 per head ($175 of ticket price is tax-deductible) or
$3300 per table of 10 ($1750 of table price is tax-deductible)
