HUNTER VALLEY SEMILLON & SEAFOOD FESTIVAL

LOCATION: Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia

DATE: 17 – 19 April 2009

DETAILS: Wine and food lovers will be heading for the Hunter this April to sample the delights of over 150 different Semillons, including latest releases, museum treasures, sparkling and dessert styles paired to perfection with the freshest local seafood.

Hunter Semillon and Seafood Feature Event: Saturday 18th April 2009, 10.30am – 4pm. In the grounds of Tyrrell’s Vineyard, Broke Road, Pokolbin.

The Semillon Experience Dinner : Friday 17th April 2009.  Hosted by Tyrrells Vineyards, McWilliams Mount Pleasant & Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.

To make the night even more enjoyable, Crown Plaza are offering a special dinner and accommodation package.

Semillon with a View – Bistro Molines & Brokenwood: Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April 2009, Semillon Tasting Plate at Esca Bimbadgen.

Breakfast & Bubbles at Ironbark Hill: Saturday 18th April 2009, Scarborough Vertical Twilight Tasting.

BLUFF OYSTER AND FOOD FESTIVAL

LOCATIONS: Bluff Foreshore, Bluff, New Zealand

DETAILS: Celebrate, eat and compete at the annual Bluff Oyster festival from 11am on Bluff Foreshore. A marquee on site caters for festival-goers in all weather and the Bluff Oyster Eating Competition is on again this year.
