Kartell Fragrances is the new Cartel project that combines perfumery and industrial design, launching a sophisticated home fragrance collection imbued with the long-established Kartell aesthetic. The intriguing designs are far removed from the usual run of candle containers and reed diffusers. There are seven pieces, from the gorgeous vase-shaped Ming to the “Vogue”, a striking electronic diffuser. Colours range from rich ruby reds and Prussian blue to pure white. As for the scents – available as candles, vaporisers, capsules and reeds – the company enlisted eminent “noses” from respected fragrance development houses. There are eight in total, including Ghost Diamond (grapefruit, jasmine and precious woods) and Noir (amber, wood and leather notes). The room diffusers retail from $95 and candles from $135.
