Boston-based technologist andy ellison first began scanning fruits and vegetables through a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine to warm the equipment up before his work day began. Once he realised the unusual beauty of his subjects, he had the inspired idea of compiling the results to create GIFs. Now he can’t stop.
He states, that he’s always looking for weird fruits and veggies to image on his blog, Inside Insides. The results are artistic, sometimes funny and somehow quite relaxing.
