Lord of the Fries arrives in Sydney
Melbourne's famous Lord of the Fries brings its ethical take on burgers and fries up north.

Melbourne’s beloved, ethical, vegetarian and 100 per cent Aussie grown fries-franchise Lord of the Fries has moved up north, bringing its delicious take on fast food to salivating Sydney-siders.

Founded by husband and wife team Mark Koronczyk and Mandy Walker, who bonded over a love of these fried spud treat, Lord of the Fries has been delighting Melburnians since 2005.

Now, they’re serving up their  award-winning burgers and famous fries and sauces (these are the guys famous for their insane fries toppings, including Indian, Belgian, American, or the Italian: shredded cheese and Napoli sauce) on Sydney’s George Street cinema strip.

And the buck doesn’t stop at fries and burgers; there’s hot dogs, chicken nuggets and onion wings to boot. The sustainable, animal-friendly menu is also 100 per cent vegetarian (the LOTF Mark Burger took out best veg burger in Australia by PETA in 2009), with gluten free, vegan, kosher and halal options, making it the most politically correct fast food joint in town.

All this and they taste awesome too.

The LOTF Sydney store is located at 537 George St and will be open daily from 10am to midnight daily. Get in line.
