Like all new mums Kate, Duchess of Cambridge has been on maternity leave, giving her time to bond with gorgeous Princess Charlotte, but she looks very pleased to be out on her first night since the Royal baby’s birth.

The Duchess looked to be in high spirits at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup, with her husband by her side and brother-in-law Prince Harry. Hosts England were due to play Fiji.

The royal mum of two donned an electric blue Reiss coat for her return to the spotlight. The sports lover’s husband William is the president of FIFA, while Harry is the honorary president of England Rugby 2015 and the organising committee staging the event. Harry is also the founder of the Invictus Games for injured veterans.
