Guy plants the fake self-help books we really need in local bookshop

Jeff Wysaski, 32, has been having the best time in his local bookshop in Hollywood. His first prank, re-categorising books was enjoyed by the internet. Favourites included the re-categorising of romance novels as ‘guys with their shirts off’ and books by the likes of Hillary Clinton and Adrianna Huffington as ‘women with short, professional haircuts’.

The idea was inspired, he told Buzzfeed, by the cookbooks that his wife buys and never uses.

“No one I know actually uses the cookbooks they buy. My wife has a whole cabinet of them she never opens.”

So he took matters into his own hands, to save people from themselves.

Now Wysaski, who runs a comedy website, has taken things a step further. Creating dust jackets for self-help books that he believes the world needs. Such as, So Your Son is a Cantaur and The Beginner’s Guide to Human Sacrifice.

The bookshop in question got in on the joke, sharing a snap of Wysaski’s creation on their Instagram.
