Last week a team of Joico stylists, led by Sara Allsop, created four unique looks for Andrea Moore’s New Zealand Fashion Week show. While we love the slicked-back, gold-streaked tresses that stormed down the runway, it’s Joico’s sleek and modern interpretation of the topknot that we’re truly besotted with. Find out how to recreate the look below.
1. Mix together in your hand Body Luxe Volumizing Foam and Instant Refresh, blow-dry while directing the hair back from the face with your hands.
2. Using your hands, scrape the hair back into a ponytail at the top of the head and secure with a hair tie.
3.Twist the ends of the hair back on itself leaving the ends exposed.
4. Secure the topknot with bobbie pins.
5. Use your hands to tease out pieces through the knot and from the head and spray with Flip Turn.
