Upcoming exhibition ‘Express Yourself: Romance Was Born for Kids’ at Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria will see art and fashion come together in a lively, flamboyant setting.

“Visitors of all ages will be encouraged to explore themes of fantasy and vibrant imagery,” NGV director Tony Ellwood says.

The exhibition of other worldly interactive installations have been created for the gallery by Sydney-based fashion house Romance Was Born designers Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales and will especially allow children to engage in the artistic process in innovative ways.

Plunkett and Sales are best-known for their creative shows, vibrant prints and collaborations with artists.

The exhibition opens on October 17 and runs until March 22, 2015, and entry will be free.
