Drop of the Week: Mount Michael Bessie’s Block Pinot Noir 2013
Named after a much loved fox terrier, this wine will have you wanting more.

Named after Mount Michael’s original and most loved employee, fox terrier Bessie, this wine hails from Central Otago. As a vineyard “supervisor” for many years, Bessie was a legendary rabbit hunter.

Boutique estate, Mount Michael produces around 3,000 cases of wine annually as perfect growing conditions for Pinot Noir are present with extremes of temperature and mineral rich soils.

A deep violet colour, aromas include black forest berries, dark chocolate and wild thyme. The palate is packed with flavours of dark berries, mushroom and cherries with subtle but elegant flavours.

To enhance the full flavour, decant one hour before drinking.

Order online across Australia and New Zealand for a delicious weekend.
